Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and driver before embarking on a scenic one-hour drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. After hotel check-in, enjoy relaxed local sightseeing including visits to key landmarks, traditional markets, and viewpoints to get your first glimpse of Bhutanese culture and lifestyle. Overnight at your selected accommodation in Thimphu for 2 nights.
Day 2 - Explore Thimphu Valley
After breakfast, set out for a scenic hike to Tango Goemba, one of Bhutan’s most important Buddhist monasteries, surrounded by forested hills and mountain views. The hike offers a peaceful blend of nature and spirituality. In the afternoon, continue with sightseeing in Thimphu, visiting key attractions such as cultural centers, viewpoints, and local markets to experience daily Bhutanese life.
Day 3 - Thimphu to Phobjikha
After breakfast, begin a scenic drive from Thimphu to the beautiful Phobjikha Valley, passing through the stunning Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 chortens and panoramic Himalayan views on clear days. The journey takes approximately six hours through changing mountain landscapes and forests. Upon arrival in Phobjikha, enjoy relaxed sightseeing in the wide glacial valley known for its peaceful atmosphere, rural charm, and scenic beauty before checking in to your selected accommodation for the 2 nights.
